About Us
We were a husband, David – who died in December 2020, and wife, Penny, team, who had a shop each, Penny is at 227 GlenFerrie Rd Malvern, had her shop is open every day from midday until 5 PM (at least) and can be there by appointment too. 03 9530 2222
David's shop is the warehouse, at 666 Glenhuntly Road Caulfield South and I, Penny, now open Monday to Friday 12 PM to 5:30 PM. The Glenhuntly Road shop is closed on the weekends. 03 9523 6686 or 0419 330 240
Penny's shop has three cats, named after science fiction and fantasy characters. Kaos, Eris and Killi are the second crew but we have had in 20 years of trading. Telzey, Pixel and Mira have all been laid to rest at Penny's sister's garden.
And we seem to have had a new addition LeeLoo who is now in the shop. Eris has decided to retire and be a house cat and protect our collection of books, and our brass bed, which just happens to get the afternoon sun.
Terms of Trade
We are a husband and wife team who attempt to describe our books accurately. If we fail, and the book is not as described, we will refund the full cost of the book and postage,
We attempt to describe the book so that you can imagine holding the book and noting the faults ( if any ) as we comment on the condition.
Both Penny and I are harsh on our descriptions, and for example, we would never describe a book as "Good" if it were missing a page.
Many of our books are shelved in our shops, with the smaller and also the more expensive items in storage, BUT PLEASE ring first to ascertain which shop the book is held at. ( We will happily transfer books from one shop to the other on 24 hours notice.
Because many the books we list on the internet are on the shelves, sometimes they get misfiled or mislaid by members of the public. Again, PLEASE ring first to ascertain which shop the book is held at. We are happy to check.

Pro-forma invoicing can be arranged for libraries, educational establishments and government departments.
We do not provide tracking unless requested, and use Australia Post for all parcels

Glenferrie Rd shop 12:00 AM, - 5.30 PM every day but Thursday closes at 5 PM.
Glenhuntly Road shop is open from 12 noon until 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
