This copy has been recently recased with marbled paper boards and a cloth spine and paper label. The interior pages are generally clean with a little browning here and there. The original frontispiece would have been an engraved portrait of Nash but the page has been removed and replaced with a leaf, slightly smaller than the others, on which has been mounted a, presumably Victorian, albumen print photograph of the original frontispiece from another copy.
