A beautiful book containing 61 extremely fine engravings The text was written to accompany the images "expressly for the work" by a number of eminent hands. Full green leather with elaborate gilt decoration. The green has softened and toned with age and there are one or two bumps and rubs but this book presents as a very impressive and lovely thing.
