181 pp, This is a long narrative poem dealing with the settlement of the first immigrants on American soil and with their later expansion westwards. found in original dark green cloth, with gilt titles on the spine, and with the tragic remnants of the dust jacket which had been secured to the paste downs, with decaying sticky tape. Now protected. There is on the 1st page and oval rubberstamp from University high school bookstore in Melbourne. The top edge appears to have been tinted but has now faded to a very pale green.
