The author and the time of the writing of this book had been teaching for 13 years, and had also hosted cookery segments on radio and food reviews and cook book reviews for a major newspaper. These recipes, came from her classes, and were favourites. When setting out the recipes, she has included some of the different basic culinary principles which are used. For this reason sketches have been provided which will give extra assistance in preparing the dish. At the end of each recipe you'll find extra notes: how long the dish keeps, alternative flavourings and anything else which may be helpful. Shortcuts should not be used. If there were any we would have discovered them during the testing of the recipes the author states in the introduction. Size: Quarto -- up to 12 " Tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
