107 pages, in original red cloth backed cream boards with red titling to the front panel. Original dustjacket. Gift inscription dated 14/12/1945 from the Peterhead Fellowship. Biographical introduction by William N. Oats, preface by Winifred A Wilton -- the author's wife, and a foreword by Prof Sir William Mitchell, Chancellor of the University of Adelaide. The top edge of the text block is slightly darkened with age and has traces of foxing. Both front and rear free end pages have offset tanning. The dustjacket has short rubs/splits at each of the 8 corners, and there are numerous short tears across the bottom edge of the front panel (none longer than a quarter of an inch), and a single 1 inch tear at the top left of the front panel. Although Prof Wilton "became one of the world's authorities in analysis and theory of Numbers," -- but this book contains none of his mathematical works.
