XI, 148pp., the last blank, preface by C. Irving Benson, Chairman of the Trustees. Gilt coloured frontispiece, with 57 half-tone plates, of pages from some of the early editions in the collection illustrates the text. 1/4 grey cloth with blue cloth boards with gilt illustration on front panel and blue writing on the spine. There is a trace of foxing, and offset tanning to the front free end page, and offset tanning to the rear end page, and there is the number 392 rubberstamped on to the rear paste down. No other damage to describe. Plain text dustwrapper, grey background with dark blue writing and decoration front panel and writing on the spine.
