Cassell, Hardcover, Book Condition: Reading Copy, Dust Jacket Condition: No, no Indication
700 g, 553 pages, in hardcover binding, which does not have the publisher's details, but does have pasted to the front panel the front cover of the dustjacket, showing 3 trees on the left-hand side of a pasture, probably snow-covered, with a domed buildings visible in the lower mid right-hand side. The book was purchased by a Victorian private library in the mid/late 1930s (they had a 5 digit telephone number, which according to my research, became a 6 digit telephone number in the late 1940s), and there are numerous rubber date stamps on the rear free end page. The book is missing the front free end page and the title page, the paging starting at the 1st page. The edges are browned, and very handled, the hinges are severely damaged, and the non-original binding is rubbed on all edges. There is other damage also. ". Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Category: Fiction; Inventory No: 0228192.
