300 g; 224 pages; with original photographic illustrated dust jacket featuring Glenn Ford as John Parish in Columbia pictures's screen version of the book. Original bookseller's sticker on front paste down, offset tanning and foxing of the first two leaves, at both the front and back of the book; the edges of the book darkened with age, and the top edge is faintly speckled with foxing. The dust jacket, price clipped at the lower corner of the front fold over, has chipping to the top edge missing approximately half a square inch at the top of the spine section, and a little less at the top of the rear panel. There is also missing a segment approximately 1.5 inches by a quarter of an inch halfway down the rear panel/spine edge without any loss of text.
