142 pages, index, and illustrated with black-and-white photographs. Photographic illustrated dust jacket. The only fault with the book are the two sticky tape marks on each of the paste downs. Slight darkening from age of the edges of the text block. The book first published in 1925, has to have been printed in the 1970s, because it now has an ISBN. This is the first revision of the book since its publication in 1925, and it has been greatly enlarged. The division is according to the use, and each section is then subdivided according to ingredients. The charm also of this book, is that some of the recipes have fallen out of flavour over the last 35 years, and there are probably people who have never tasted them.
