The text illustrated with black and white photographs. Photographic dustwrapper, showing a photograph of University of Melbourne from its archives, bone background with black writing on the front cover and spine. The only damage as such is a slight darkening of the top edge of the text block, and what would appear to be the use of two types of stock by the publisher, because the first 88 pages have not yellowed on the front edge.
