192 pages, indexed, and 29 black-and-white photographs. Colour illustrated dustwrapper. The dustwrapper is rubbed at the fold over tips, and the top and bottom of the spine section, and also has a 0.75 inch tear at the top right of the front panel. The edges of the text block are slightly dusty, and there is an inscription on the front end page "presented by Collingwood Cricket club March 1975" and underneath this is the signature of C. Tuttleby, an official with the Collingwood Cricket club, who also played with them during the war years, and is mentioned in the index of this book. An interesting association copy. In this book Australia's aggressive test opener is as controversial as occasionally he was on the field. He writes with colloquial bluntness of his stormy relationship with administrators and selectors, of his on the field clashes with players such as Tony Greig and Rohan Kanhai. A product of Melbourne's tough industrial suburb of Collingwood, he has a directness that never fails to make his meaning plain -- front fold over blurb Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
