450 g; VI, 234 pages, last two pages blank, text illustrated with numerous parts, and full-page black-and-white drawings. Coloured line drawing on front panel of the dust jacket. The top edge of the text blocks is slightly foxed. Small discoloration at the top right-hand corner of the title page, and a couple of pages accidentally dogeared is the extent of damage to the book itself. The dust jacket is rubbed and chipped, and the fold over corners, and the head and tail of the back strip, with the longest tear are being approximately 0 .5 ". Debbie Endicott was only a child when her family left Scrooby, England, to seek a new home and religious freedom in Holland. After a time many of the English folk had begun to feel the time had come to move on to a new land, where the children could be brought up in a truly English fashion, and where they could establish their own government.
