300 g; text is illustrated with numerous small drawings by Peter Russell Clark, two drawings of the hospital, in 1869 and in 1969, a photograph of the laying of foundation stone in 1882, and various advertisements throughout the book mostly illustrated by Peter Russell-Clarke (Kentucky Fried Chicken is not illustrated by him). A couple of pages have been dogeared, and there are cooking splashes, and the laminated card binding has yellowed on the lower portion of the front and back panels. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
