An English prose edition of the epic German mediaeval poem. Softening of the back strip edges with rubbing of the book corners, backstrip corners and lower book edges. The tint on the top text edge has become a little faded and staying with light browning of the text block edges and age toning of the pages. Offset tanning to the endpapers.
