Navy blue coloured faux leather textured boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip.? Gilt to the textblock edges. The title says it all really, a small handy reference for nurses, listed alphabetically, on the techniques, medicine doses, bandaging and other necessary knowledge for nurses in the 1930s. The book is in reasonable shape but is showing signs of age. Softening with a little chipping to the backstrip with some creases also present. Rubbing of the book panels and edges and the ? gilt edging has faded to a blackish colour. Browning and a few foxing spots can be seen to the textblock edges though only light age toning of the pages with the occasional mark present. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right hand corner of the front paste-down and a previous owners name has been scrubbed out in a yellow coloured "whiteout".
