At some stage this book has come in contact with water, which has caused the dustwrapper to adhere to the front and rear edges of the boards. Softening to the backstrip with bumping of the book corners with rubbing to the lower book edges. Browning and foxing to the textblock edges and to the pages. The hinge has cracked at the rear and the underlying webbing is visible. Previous owners ex libris plate attached to the front paste-down. The dustwrapper is in horrible shape – please see photographs. Chipping to the backstrip edges, dustwrapper edges, dustwrapper corners.
