The Book of Jonah. Chocolate brown coloured endpapers. The text has been printed on a slightly yellow coloured paper and the text has been printed in a brown coloured ink. There are copious black and white illustrations by Arthur Boyd. The illustrations are full-page, half page and occasionally double page. Aqua coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Green coloured tint to the top textblock edge. Colour illustrated dustwrapper (wraparound), by Arthur Boyd, with yellow and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. The poet Peter Porter and the artist Arthur Boyd have combined their talents to reinterpret the book of Jonah through verse and illustrations. Both the author and the artist had signed the book on the verso of the title page. Minor rubbing to the backstrip edges, book corners and lower book edges. Some fading to the top book edges. A little chipping to the dustwrapper corners and rubbing to the dustwrapper edges and panels. There is a piece missing from the top left-hand corner of the front panel and a 0.25" tear to the top right-hand corner of the rear panel, with associated creases. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
