In exchange for a new steering equipment, they agreed to supervise work on and other man's yacht. This man's name was Jim Howard – an outwardly jovial (but domineering) man, whose personae became more and more dubious. The authors finally realised that Jim Howard was running large amounts of drugs out of Cochin, and they risked their lives on more than one occasion to bring him to justice.
