This small book has 300 poems by 130 poets, starting with T.E. Brown born in 1833 to the age of Steven Spender and Day Lewis. Part of the Everyman's Library -- Poetry & the Drama -- Number 921 Softening to the head and to the heel of the backstrip along with fading, commensurate with loss of dustwrapper. Rubbing to the lower book edges and there is browning to the top right-hand corner of the front panel. Faint foxing to the front fore text edge with age toning of both the textblock edges and internal pages. Previous owners details to the top right-hand corner of the free front end paper. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the backstrip. There are small closed tears to the top dustwrapper edge and one small tear to the lower right-hand corner of the rear dustwrapper panel. Most of the tears have associated creasing. There is a piece missing from the top right-hand edge of the front fold over panel. Browning, rubbing and staining to the dustwrapper panels.
