Yellow coloured cloth covered boards with brown coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. An investigation on the Sir Tristan and Iseut legend. Starting in 12th century France the author investigates and explores the various origins of the legend and examines its many variations and guises. Both the early and late versions are examined and of the inspiration and retelling down through the years. A little softening to the head into the heel of the backstrip and faint age toning of the textblock edges and internal pages.
