The text is illustrated with both colour and black and white photographs and illustrations throughout by various artists and illustrators. 1/4 white coloured back strip with gilt coloured titles. 3/4 gilt and white design against a red coloured boards. Illustrated dustwrapper, same illustration as the underlying boards with black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. An anthology of poetry, prose interspersed with pictures. Lower corners show underlying board and there is heavy wear to the lower book edge. Browning and dust marks to the top text block edge and light age toning of the internal text. Rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip. There is a large piece missing from the top left-hand corner of the backstrip and the backstrip has become incredibly rubbed and sound. Rubbing to the dustwrapper edges and dustwrapper panels and some tears with associated creasing to the top edge of the front panel. There is a 1 inch tear to the lower left-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel and a 2.25 " tear to the lower right-hand corner of the rear panel.
