The text is illustrated with eight pages of black-and-white photography between page 128 and 129. Dark purple coloured cloth boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. There is self embossed illustration of a plane on the front book panel. Bumping to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners. Flecking to the lower edge of the front dustwrapper panel, along the front spine gutter edge, lower edge of the backstrip and to the top right-hand corner of the backstrip. Rubbing to the book panels and browning and foxing to the text block edge. Light browning to the internal text. Photographic dustwrapper with white titles to the front panel and backstrip.
