Softening to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners. White stains to the top text block edge along with some dust marks. Black-and-white photographic dustwrapper with orange and white titles to the front panel and black and orange titles to the backstrip. Black-and-white photograph of the author to the rear dustwrapper panel. Chipping to the top right-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel and rubbing to the other dustwrapper corners. Creasing to the dustwrapper edges and a small tear to the top and bottom of the backstrip edges. Fading to the backstrip and yellowing to the rear dustwrapper panel. Browning and foxing to the front fore text block edge. Light age toning of the internal text and of the endpapers. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front fold over panel, still in situ and has led into the dustwrapper panel.
