Photographic front cover, with white, red and black titles. Rubbing and creasing to the book corners and the lower edges have started to curl slightly. A few rubs and marks to the book panels and a little darkening of the book panels. Rubbing to the spine region. Very slight age toning to the internal text. There is no publication date that I can find on the book, but given the illustrations and the advertisements I would suggest late 50s or very early 60s. The book is in very good condition considering its age. Book of over 70 recipes for cakes and biscuits for celebrations or any occasion. What really is intriguing is a section at the rear of the book entitled "What Makes Cakes Fail ?" and then gives rescue remedies for said failures.
