Buckram covered boards with blue titles to the front panel and backstrip. A book put out in the late 1940s on the use of gas and air as an inhalation analgesia in midwifery and minor surgery. Bumping and discolouration to the head and to the heel of the backstrip and to the book corners. Flecking to the edges of the boards. Some marks and slight rubbing to the book boards. Llght dustiness and browning to the text block edges. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Light browning to the endpapers and a few marks are also present. The internal pages are clean, crisp and bright. Previous owner's name to the top right-hand corner of the free front end paper.
