There has been adherence of the verso of the dustwrapper to the top one third of the backstrip and to the top edge of the rear book panel, commensurate with moisture applied to the dustwrapper. Staining to the top corner of the top text block edge and light browning to the other edges. Bookseller's stamp to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. The remains of a sticker can be seen to the top right-hand corner of the free front endpaper. A previous owner has placed the date 5-1-90, in blue ink, to the top left-hand corner of the rear endpaper.
