Blue/green coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Dark blue coloured tint to the top text block edge. Illustrated dustwrapper ( wraparound ), again by Douglas Hall, with green and blue coloured titles to the front panel and spine. Another delightful book, Lillian Beckwith about living on the Scottish Hebrides island of Bruach. A place full of eccentrics, and that's just the animals. A little rubbing to the head and to the heel of the back strip and to the book corners. The spine of the book is slightly cocked. Offset tanning and handling marks to the endpapers. Rubbing and slight chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the head into the heel of the back strip. The back strip has become somewhat sun faded and there is a crease that runs l the full-length of the back strip. There is a 1 " tear to the lower left-hand corner of the back panel. There is a crease that runs the full length of the back panel and there is general is scuffing and rubbing of the dustwrapper. Clipping of the dustwrapper, blindfold over, lower right-hand corner.
