Non paginated, introduction by Ronald Searle. Illustrated endpapers, being a map of Australia and Southeast Asia drawn by Bruce Petty. The text is illustrated with copious black-and-white line drawings and graphic illustrations by the author. The text is printed on yellow coloured paper. Tan coloured boards with illustration of young girl and baby on hip on the front panel and on the back panel there is a street scene. There is black and grey writing on the front panel and spine. Slight bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the top book corners. Shelfwear to lower book edges and there is dust marks browning to the paper edges. Gift inscription to the free front endpaper. Illustrated dust wrapper, same illustrations as for boards, with black and white writing on the front panel and spine. Dark brown/grey background. The dust wrapper is slightly faded and there are white marks to the spine and front panel approximately 4 " down from the top edge. Rubbing and chipping to the dust wrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. In 1961 Bruce Petty undertook a trip to Southeast Asia. This book is the impressions of that trip.
