Rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. The cloth of the board has become somewhat marked and on the lower front panel edge faded. The spine at the top has also become faded commensurate with loss of dustwrapper. Very light browning of the paper edges and foxing is present as well. Foxing to the internal pages along with some handling marks. The colour of the endpaper has bled onto the lower paper edge at the beer. Chipping, with loss to the dustwrapper corners. There is a tear measuring 1 " to the lower front fold over crease, a tear measuring 1.5 " to the top dustwrapper edge and on the back panel the two tears, one measuring 0.75 " and the other 1 ". The top 2 " of the spine is missing and there is a small chip to the lower spine edge. Previous owner has placed " No 2 ", in ink, to the front panel.
