VIII, 156pp. 1/4 yellow cloth spine with black writing and 3/4 dark blue-grey boards. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and shelfwear to the top and bottom book edges. Foxing to the cloth of the spine and to the paper edges. Browning has also occurred to the paper edges. Offset tanning to the endpapers on with quite significant foxing. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right hand corner, front paste down. Some handling marks internally. The dustwrapper is illustrated, showing a futuristic aeroplane taking off, with white background, and blue writing on the front panel and spine. The dustwrapper is rubbed, faded and quite grubby. Chipping, with loss to the top dustwrapper corners and just chipping to the lower dustwrapper corners. Chipping with loss to the head and to the heel of the spine. There is a small punch market in the top half of the spine of the dustwrapper. Creasing to the top dustwrapper edge and there is some staining to the verso of the dustwrapper. Foxing has also occurred to the verso of the dustwrapper. Dustwrapper is price clipped, lower right hand corner of the front paste down. A look at the year 2000 from late 1940s.
