208pp., last blank, editor's foreword, foreword by John C. Wister and index. Pink coloured boards with silver writing on the spine. Bumping to the book corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. Some marks to the cloth of the board on the front panel. Browning and foxing to the paper edges. Offset tanning to the endpapers along with some foxing. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing some forms for a flower show, with pink overlay and black writing on front panel and spine. Dustwrapper is rubbed, faded and quite scruffy. Corners are rubbed and shipped. The top and bottom dustwrapper edge are creased and there is a 1.5 "tear in the top spine edge. Sunning has caused fading to the spine and to the top edge of the front panel. There is grubby marks and foxing marks noticeable on the dustwrapper most noticeable on the verso. Inserted loosely into the book is original receipt for book purchase and a small article on gardening. A guide to the presentation, judging and setting up of a flower show circa 1950.
