Photographic frontispiece, showing author in the 1913, protected by a tissue guard. 3/4 brown coloured marble boards with 1/4 beige vellum on spine with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. At the rear of the book there is a two page "Publisher's Note on the Text" tipped in. A book of poems dedicated to the King of England by the then poet Laureate. Discolouration to the extreme edges of the book and shelf wear evident to the lower edges. The vellum has also become spotted and grubby. Uniform tanning of the text block edges and the pages show age toning and scattered foxing. Offset tanning and foxing to the end pages with previous owner's name to the top edge of the free front endpaper. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right hand corner of the three front endpaper. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. , 175,  pages,. Deckled Front Edge (rough cut).
