The text is illustrated with black and white photographs or black and white line drawings. Illustrated front cover showing a scale model ship and scale model ship making tools, with grey background and maroon writing on the front panel and spine. Corners of the book are scuffed and creased and there is scrapping along the top and bottom book edge. Sun damage to the spine with resultant trading of the writing and there is discussing to the head and healed spine and a small tear to the bottom front spine gutter. Covers are somewhat faded.
