"This book was inspired by the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. In the heart of that national shrine on the green slopes of Mount Ainslie is the Hall of Memory, lit by 15 great stained-glass windows, each portraying a figure in uniform and each symbolising a quality for which Australian service men and women are honoured. Words in scarlet lettering across the bottom of its window record those qualities-- Resource, Candour, Devotion, Curiosity, Independence, Comradeship, Ancestry, Patriotism, Chivalry, Loyalty, Coolness, Control, Audacity, Endurance, Decision.". -- from the front fold over panel blurb. The corners of the books are slightly rubbed and the bottom corners are bumped. The head and the heel of the spine are slightly soft. Dust marks to the top paper edge and within the text there are handling marks and faint foxing. The corners of the dustwrapper are rubbed and chips and their are some creasing and chipping along the top dustwrapper edge and bottom. On back fold over there is a tear that commences at the top of the book and runs 4" into the body of fold over. Faint rubbing and fading of the dustwrapper. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. hundred pages.
