Illustrated endpapers, showing a map of the world with Australia highlighted. Ochre coloured boards with embossed map of Australia on front panel and gilt titles to the backstrip. There is a small piece of the heel of the spine missing. Photographic dustwrapper, showing a cave on Kangaroo Island and on the back panel a mining operation, with yellow titles to the front panel and backstrip. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. Rubbing to the dustwrapper panels and a previous owner has cut out the original price to the lower right-hand corner of the front fold over panel. This book was a look at Australia (in 1960's), its past, its present and its future. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
