Illustrated endpapers, which is showing a illustration of "going to Botany". Grey boards with gilt titles on the backstrip. There is in minor shelf wear evident on the bottom edge and the corners are slightly rubbed. On the front paste down and ffep., there a small piece missing 1" x .5". The front endpapers have a sun line running down the full-length of the page. Illustrated dustwrapper, again showing sketches from Sydney 1850s, black titles on the front panel and on the spine. There is minor rubbing of the dustwrapper and there is also some very small chipping along the top edge of the dustwrapper.
