233pp; Leon Pescheret was born in England in 1892. He later came to America in 1910 and studied interior design at the Art Institute of Chicago. He supervised many interior design projects in the midwest in the 1920's, and began designing and making etchings. In 1930, he devoted his business to etchings full-time, and became very famous in this arena, winning both national and international awards; This book covers many elements of interior design in the format of twenty different lessons; Please email me for a comprehensive list of the lesson titles; There are many, many illustrations throughout the book; Book has dark red boards with gilt lettering; There is a 2" crack at the bottom of the crease on the front cover of the book, but it only impacts the cover. The binding is intact; There is light to medium edgewear, and some spotted discoloration, primarily on the spine; Corners are bumped and slightly creased; Inside, the pages are great, with no extraneous marks; There is a bookplate on the front inside cover, as well as the owner's inscription; There is light foxing on the endpapers, but not on the core text; A wonderful copy of a very rare book; Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
