S. C. Atkinson, 1833, Hardcover, Book Condition: Poor, Dust Jacket Condition: No

The Journal of Law was a very early American law journal, with issues released between July 7, 1830 and June 22, 1831. This is an extremely rare set of all 24 issues, bound together and republished in 1833. Unfortunately, the book is in very poor condition, but it is the only gathering I've been able to find of all 24 issues, other than copies in 3 university law libraries. Size: 8mo - over 7 3/4" - 9 3/4" tall. 384 pp. Pages are very browned and contain water damage throughout. 2 pages are missing from Issue 4. Both boards are detached, but present. Several chips out of the spine as well. Heavy foxing throughout. Heavy shelfwear to the cover. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 1 - 2 pounds. Category: Law & Criminal Studies; United States; 19th century; Pictures of this item not already displayed here available upon request. Inventory No: 001428.
