Some of the illustrations have been taken from an article 'Vanishing Rome', Magazine of Art, 1890. There is a 2-page section with portraits of Roman emperors and a 3-page section on Dante. Includes some personal postcards dated 1909 (addressed in the main to La Famiglia Vedovato (Padova)) and 11 original photos from a holiday in the Bahamas.
