With 8 full page illustrations in colour by Ellis Silas, 2 b/w illusts, map of voyage. Blue cloth, illust ship blind embossed to front cover, previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper, pictorial d/w has a few closed tears. This book is dedicated to the author's brother, Ronald Gregory Walker, who was killed aloft aboard the full-rigged ship "Grace Harwar", between New Zealand and Cape Horn. Ronald was sailing with Allan Villiers and their story is told in Villier's book, "By way of Cape Horn". A very good copy in very good dust jacket.; 210 x 155mm; xii, 219 pages
