Firmly bound, clean pages, corner crease on p. 209; light bumping to top corners of unclipped jacket. have seldom read a biography, and never one about someone I knew and admired, as accurate in the author's perception of his subject's complex personality, or of her life and times. I found historian Sean Morrow's account of Professor Wilson's boundary breaking work both magisterial in the research and writing as well as uncannily accurate in his understanding of the woman, wife, widow and mother. I was taken back years to a world I thought I had left behind but which Morrow evokes so vividly in this book. Heartily recommended. (Reader review) 462 pages. Quantity Available: 1.
