Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact, bar wear to spine ends and corners. Previous owner's name in ink on front end paper. "Translated and Revised from the Second Belgian Edition, with Additions and Clinical Cases from American Sources". Brown gilt stamped cloth over boards, 192 pages, Index, Repertory, tiny photograph tipped into front free end paper, presumed to be Dr. Eaton, the owner of the book. Covers worn, bumped at corners and spine ends with some wear, gilt on spine faded, Dr. Eaton has signed his name and dated 1883 on front end paper and stamped his name at the bottom of the rear end paper, a couple of tiny holes in gutter of front & back covers (possibly insect damage), pages moderately toned, small stain in blank margin lower corner page 177-178.
