Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. No author is stated but the original luster Brown comic strip was drawn by Richard F. Outcault. Color illustrated paper over boards, green cloth spine, 9" x 11", color frontispiece and illustrated color title page, no page numbers (64 pages), color illustration inside back cover, "a beautiful and useful book to give skill too little fingers, and help bright eyes to see the wonderful beauty everywhere present in color and forms." This book was used by a 14 year-old, covers are soiled, chipped along edges, paper missing bottom front corner, spine ends frayed, white stain at bottom front of spine, the "This Book Belongs To" on the inside of the front cover is filled out in pencil and dated Dec 25, 1920, pages are toned (however not as much as they appear in the photographs), some of the drawings that are meant to have been colored are colored, some of the drawings that were meant to be copied are copied (all neatly done).
