Size: 16mo. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is sound. This is a scarce book that has been signed by the author under her name on the title page as well as signed and inscribed "Trudy Thompson with love from Harriet Putnam December, 1932" on the front free end paper. Black cloth spine and blue illustrated paper over boards, illustration on front board is repeated as frontispiece, , 54 pages, a collection of poems for children. Corners and spine ends are bumped with wear, particularly bottom corners, covers are soiled and slightly discolored from handling, both front and rear endpapers show evidence of something such as a bookplate having been removed, a child has neatly colored in the frontispiece illustration and written the name Frederick in pencil, bottom right corner of frontispiece page is torn off, small smudge of color on same page, interior pages moderately toned, some pages have finger smudges on them, but no writing or other previous owner marks, rear hinge is starting with a slight wiggle to back cover but overall binding is sound.
