Member of Parliament for the City of York and Robert Fairfax, Esq; Alderman of the City of York by Francis Hildyard. Contains vignette illustrations of York Coat of arms and those of others. Full leather with matching decorative tooling on the front and rear covers and banded spine. Surface of leather on spine is cracked and there are short splits on the joints at the spine-ends. Covers are firmly attached, although paper is split over inner hinges, text block binding is sound. Brown spot on 1st/2nd page. Clean pages. Bookplate of David Stather in inside of front cover.
