Retired Veterinary Surgeon Alex Noble has collected in this anthology poems he has written mostly over the last 10 years. The first poem he wrote at the age of 25 (Onwards Aye Onwards to Essen You Go) was in memory of a close friend who was killed in the war. However his hobby did not really take off until after he suffered a serious heart attack a decade ago.
