Quaint Book Shop - Terms of Trade

PAYMENT
Payment by credit card (through book-selling sites or PayPal) or private check in U.S. funds. Payments provided by check or money order must be made out to Quaint Book Shop for the exact amount and will be held for 14 days to give your payment time to reach us.

SALES TAX
A 7.25% sales tax is charged only for books delivered in the state of Ohio.

SHIPPING - DOMESTIC
Shipping within the United States is available through USPS Media Mail or Priority Mail or UPS. The standard shipping charges are based on standard books, so oversized or heavy books and book sets will require additional postage. If that is the case, you will be contacted to approve any additional charge to cover the extra shipping.

SHIPPING - INTERNATIONAL
International orders are normally shipped in a USPS Priority Mail International Flat-Rate envelope or box; inquire about the cost of shipping to your country if you live outside the United States since the cost varies widely.

Customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer. All shipments to destinations outside the U.S. will bear the required customs label, be marked merchandise and show the book price(s) as the declared value(s).

RETURNS
If you find it necessary to return the book you received, you may do so within 14 days from the date of sale. Please notify us within five days of receipt so we can be expecting its return. Include the paperwork that accompanied the book (which includes the order number) and indicate your reason for the return. If the book is returned in the same condition in which it was sent, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price. The buyer normally pays for return shipping. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase due to an error in our description or because you feel the book is not as described, we will happily cover the full cost of the return.

Trading Hours

We are an online-only store, so there are no set hours, but orders are accepted 24/7 and are processed and shipped within two business days. (Business days do not include weekends and U.S. holidays).
