Returns are not accepted on items that have been used by the buyer. This use includes the reading, copying (electronically or otherwise) and using for reference all or any part of the sold book, pamphlet or other printed matter. Returns are accepted on all items unused by buyer, provided that we are notified of the wish to return within 2 weeks of delivery and that the item is returned, by a trackable method, within 3 weeks of delivery Buyers are asked to ensure that they contact Bailgate Books Ltd by phone or e-mail prior to returning the item.
Reasonable enquiries, made prior to sale, concerning the content and the condition of any item will be answered wherever possible.
Post-brexit buyers from the EU need to be aware that they may be charged VAT and customs and/or courier handling charges which will be collected by the European courier/mail service in that EU country prior to delivery or collection or books. This is in addition to the shipping charge which is collected by the seller at confirmation of an order and is the cost of shipping from the UK and currently does not include taxes and charges originating in the EU. These latter taxes and charges differ from country to country and are also dependent on the value of the item order
