The text is illustrated with eight separate inserts, of four pages each, of black and white photographs/illustrations from Warrnambool's history. A photographic front cover showing road making north of Warrnambool in 1866 with brown coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing the city of Warrnambool's Seal against a white coloured background with red and black coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. The history of the city of Warrnambool and its environs in the far west of Victoria. Rubbing to the backstrip edges and bumping to the top book corners and top edge of the front board. Browning and light foxing to the text block edges and browning to the pages. Rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper corners and to the edges of the backstrip. There are small splits to all a strip edges. There is a 2 " tear to the lower right-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel and a 0.5 " tear to the top right-hand corner dustwrapper edge. Multiple small close tears to the top edge of the dustwrapper with creasing. A little rubbing to the lower dustwrapper edge. The white of the background has become quite yellow and shows multiple handling marks and rubs. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. XII, 190 pages, last two pages blank, .
